Development density is intrinsically linked with the reflected character, scale and form of the locality - I don't think that density can be open to interpretation the key to planning a good development is making it fit with what already exists that means not putting three storey blocks of buildings within an area of detached bungalows! just because it satisfies a core strategy to get all the allocations in one area at one time. There is plenty of available land (non greenbelt) across the district to provide the needs in a lower density of developments that fit better.
