Appearance is not everything. Builders should not be allowed to 'dry line' walls in any property but should be required to properly plaster the interior surface of what must be truly thick brick walls. They must provide good wooden front and interior doors. Room/hall/stair areas must be spacious. Human effort can build good quality homes at affordable prices if you do not use large builders who give priority to their shareholders.
