A busier flight path over the surrounding areas would create noise & misery for residents and eventually damage property values. A green light for development is a green light for greedy companies to push for more flights, increased passenger numbers and night flights.
Lessons from Stanstead people... not to mention congested roads , increased pollution. Not the way to put Southend on the map.
