Rayleigh Town Centre Area Action Plan - Issues and Options

Representation ID: 17121

Received: 28/01/2010

Respondent: Mr Ian Foley

Representation Summary:

The strategic objectives are fine with priority being given to the High Street north of Eastwood Road which is relatively already a successful area.To the South up to Love Lane may benefit in time but this is doubtful as footfall is unsufficient.
The greenlink to the north (fig35) may be successful but not the other. It would be interesting to know how many visitors/inhabitants visit Rayleigh Mount. It is used as a cut through to the Station but how many people visit it as a leisure activity. It is of course of great historic importance but not used anything like King Georges field
