Representation ID: 16143

Received: 01/11/2009

Respondent: Mr David Fryer-Kelsey

Representation Summary:

The policy should also cover the subject of parents parking outside schools to collect their children. This parking is notoriously anti-social, on pavements, across drives, on verges etc. It can and often does obstruct the pavements making it difficult for prams and motorised scooters to pass. It also obstructs the road making it difficult for the emergency services to pass. The regulations should be clear and always carried out by the authorities.
