London Southend Airport & Environs Joint Area Action Plan Issues & Options Paper

Representation ID: 1261

Received: 21/07/2008

Respondent: Mrs Susan Currington

Representation Summary:

Development would blight the lives of many people in Rochford largely through noise and increased traffic. Largely only business travellers use the train to get to an airport and they will continue to prefer City. Roads into Southend are already congested. If Eastwoodbury Lane is made difficult to use this will push more traffic through Hall Road and Southend Road to reach the Anne Boleyn. This route is already often solid.
