The Developments .CFS027dto go roun,cFs029 CFS053and CFS098 just increase pressure on limited road structure. An Alternative road exit is need North of Rayleigh near Rochford to relieve Traffic Congestion. Any link between the Hockley Road at wellington road down to Albert Road just creates another rat run

Representation Summary:

There should be an alternative link to the A127, A13 and A12 for traffic from Hullbridge , Hockley, Rochford etc without if having to all funnel thru Rayleigh to link to this roads an single lane urban roads but have a relief road for these areas.

Q56d. Are there areas that require protecting from development?

Representation ID: 37690

Received: 05/08/2021

Respondent: carlton kitchens

Representation Summary:

Sites CFS027,CFS029, CFS053,CFS098 -- are eating into green space on the boundaries of Rayleigh and diminishing its separation from the the Eastwood and Hockley area. Any link between the Hockley road , wellington road and Albert /Napier road will just encourage a rat run on an already congested traffic route. People already seek ways to avoid going thru the congestion of Rayleigh by using all the back roads to avoid queueing. Really need an alternative way for traffic not to come thru Rayleigh to get to the main A routes.
