The Key Diagram is missing the opportunity to identify opportunities for public open space, parkland and riverside walks which also exist at Hullbridge, particularly to the West.
We support the Council's identification of Hullbridge as a growth location but cannot support the key diagram as the proposed extensions to residential envelopes pre and post 2021 are too site specific. We consider it appropriate for the Key Diagram to indicate locations for new open space, parkland and riverside walks which should be assessed in terms of feasibility. There are opportunities for Hullbridge to be enhanced with the introduction of high quality public open space, parkland and riverside walks as well as appropriate links to facilities such as the local infant and primary school which would be essential elements of an extension to Hullbridge.
