Olympus KeyMed continues to be supportive of the London Southend Airport and Area Development Plan which is positive in the context of both the local economy and regeneration of the wider area. We are pleased to see the JAAP Consultation document provides further details encompassing the neighbouring areas and the necessary facilities to support the Airport development. Olympus KeyMed employs approaching 1,000 people, and with close links to Olympus European subsidiaries, many of our employees are regular travellers. The development of London Southend Airport would therefore significantly improve travel efficiency for many of our staff.
