I appreciate that we may need more homes but why develop congested area's such as Hockley when there are other places that have existing infrastructure and little housing - such as most of the places on the train line from Burnham to Wickford. As for instance Battlesbridge has much scope for growth near the station, a regular bus, and good access to the Chelmsford side of the A130 for work/travel and commuting.

Maybe this is not in our district? but does that mean we cannot suggest it as an alternative?
