Core Strategy Preferred Options (Revised October 2008)

H2 General Locations and Phasing - Preferred Option

Representation ID: 4007

Received: 12/12/2008

Respondent: Hawkwell Action Group

Representation Summary:

PUBLIC CONSULTATION - Hawkwell`s 300+ New Houses

I Strongly Object to additional housing in Hawkwell for the following reasons..

Infrastructure cannot cope - B1013 already at 72% capacity with bottlenecks at Rectory Road roundabout & the railway bridge.

Hawkwell will loose its identity and continuous housing will stretch from Hockley to Ashingdon.

Hawkwell currently has poor public transport, with further service cuts expected.

Wildlife & the remaining countryside we have, will be lost.

PLEASE REGISTER THIS WRITTEN OBJECTION
AS PART OF THE PUBLIC CONSULTATION.
