As I was born and still live in Rawreth (retired) I object most strongly to the development between Rawreth lane and London Road, as this is prime agricultural land and also green belt, it would also make Rayleigh one step nearer to joining with Shotgate and Wickford.
Also roads in this immediate area are already over crowded.
All development to date has been to one side of our village, as it seems we must have our share of new houses, these should be more evenly distributed in smaller groups to keep our village atmosphere, rather than large estates.
Various brown field sites exist in the village with good access onto A1245, these being Hambro Nursery, Clovelly and some small areas on Chelmsford Road on the eastern side.
On the western side of Chelmsford Road we have three garage sites, with if need be rear access onto Church Road this would allow traffic to enter A1245 at the traffic lights.
There are also various other small to medium pockets of land in and around the village, that seem to be little used for farming.
Dear Sirs,

By using my own and adjoining brown field sites, this would enhance the centre of Rawreth.
1. These being close to Church and Village Hall.
2. East access to main trunk roads.
3. Very little employment lost.
4. No loss of Green Belt.
5. All sites on bus route.
6. We are not on the flood plain.
7. Within walking distance of local recreational facilities.
