With the implementation of Scenario 3 and the runway extension that it brings with it, Airlines will be encouraged to base their operations at Southend Airport, which will in turn bring tens of thousands of new fare paying passengers to the area, all of which will have to be catered for one way or another.
Transport clearly is of great importance and the new train station is essential.
Employment will grow significantly and local businesses should see substantial growth too.

Promote the potential of Southend to both the public and commercial sectors, attracting back to the area, skilled, experienced aviation engineers lost to Stansted and Luton.
