I would have expected somewhere in this section a mention of the potential implications of the Southend Airport expansion on the existing road infrastructure.
Getting to and from the airport, including an anticipated expansion in associated economic activity, will present considerable challenges for all roads in the area, not just in and around the airport but roads feeding into that area, particularly as many roads e.g Southend Road, Sutton Road can suffer from significant traffic pressure at key times in the working day
