Representation ID: 17846

Received: 10/04/2010

Respondent: Mr Andrew Allen

Representation Summary:

By imposing this 25% increase in floorspace proposal RDC will be encoraging green belt property owners to excercise the permitted development rights rather than applying for planning permission which allows RDC an element of control over design. Unless a more generous approach is adopted RDC will have less say in the design of extensions. The outcome of this will likly be an increase in flat roof extensions which RDC will be powerless to do anything about.
