The polcy is unsound because there is scant consideration for the enviromental impact on the area and residents. At a time where the UK is already struggling to reduce carbon emmissions to promised levels, and where noise pollution is seen as an increasing health problem, our Councils wish to buck the trend. I have received no direct correspondence from either Council.
The Councils have deliberately made it difficult for the ordinary man in the street and the elderly to comment on this development.
