The physical confines of the Town Centre prevent radical development except perhaps in Websters Way involving compulsory purchase of some of the land at the rear of the High Street shops.
Office space building could be at first floor level allowing ground level access for vehicles etc to shops.This would make the aspect in Websters Way more pleasant to residents and visitors.
