There appears to have been very little account taken of the impact of any further development on the residents who live in close proximity to the airport particularly where noise is concerned. We already suffer particularly when night flights occur (they do occur!!)

The JAPP does not provide a long term analysis of the economic effects of aviation expansion (an economic model based upon rapid expansion of CO2 emissions). Rapid climate change and sea level rise will lead to the loss of thousands of Essex homes, loss of agricultural land and the loss of the CtoC rail link by 2100. This economic model will cause severe economic damage from around 2030 onwards.

The JAAP does not take into account the adverse impacts on communities on the south side of the River Thames especially the Hoo Peninsula.The JAAP does not take into account the adverse impacts on amenity caused by noise and loss of visual amenity in this tranquil area. I have already had reason to complain to Southend Airport about the lowflying of Flybe aircraft into Southend from Jersey
The JAAP does not appear to take into account the adverse impacts of CO2 emissions from aviation, not just locally but nationally and internationally
